DAY 1 | EVORA
The tour begins with a visit of the city of Évora, UNESCO World Heritage. At lunch, have your first taste of the extraordinary Alentejo regional cuisine in a very good and typical restaurant. Free time to walk in the city streets, to visit the little handicraft stores and feel the serenity of Alentejo. Accommodation in Évora. Breakfast included, free dinner.
In the morning, transfer to visit Quinta de Valbom – Adega Cartuxa, home of fabulous Alentejo wines, such as the famous Pêra- Manca. Visit and wine tasting. Free time to walk in the city streets, to visit the little handicraft stores. Accommodation in Évora. Breakfast included, free lunch and dinner.
Departure from Évora towards Reguengos de Monsaraz to visit Herdade do Esporão – the vineyards, winery, cellar and wines tasting.
Enogastronomic lunch with olive oils tasting, harmonized by a Chef and Sommeliers. After lunch, transfer to Monsaraz, before seeing the Mestre Baptista Museum (a tribute to a local bullfighter). Breakfast included, free dinner, accommodation in Monsaraz in Horta da Moura Hotel.
Guided visit of the Medieval village of Monsaraz in a great Tuk Tuk ride including the village and Convent of Oratory and Chapel of St. Benedict visit. Free time to enjoy the village or the hotel facilities. Free lunch and free dinner. Accommodation in Monsaraz in Horta da Moura.
Morning transfer to Marina da Amieira for a boat ride on the largest artificial lake in Europe – Alqueva. After the tour possibility to stay for luch at the restaurant of the Marina or return to Évora before lunch time.
